A BRIEF HISTORY
CONCAFRAS-PSE (Auta de Souza Food Drive Annual Meeting) is a meeting of spiritist volunteers that began in South America in 1957.
Later, the Auta de Souza Fraternal Meetings were created, which are smaller and regional events that have been occurring in different parts of the world.
CONCAFRAS has no permanent headquarters and it is not a jurisdictional entity. It is an initiative of love and fraternity, a program of actions of spiritist volunteers. It is not an institution, but a fraternal gathering, promoting the exchange of experiences of spiritist workers of different countries.
CONTINENTAL (WORLD) CONCAFRAS
The CONTINENTAL CONCAFRAS is an international meeting of spiritist volunteers from around the world, usually organized every 4 years in different countries. The CONTINENTAL CONCAFRAS demonstrates Jesus’ teachings through collective charitable works and volunteering, bringing to life a love for all people. These charity activities were developed by spiritist institutions all around the world.
The first CONTINENTAL CONCAFRAS took place in July of 2013, in the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The second, in July of 2015 in Manaus, Brazil. The most recent CONTINENTAL CONCAFRAS was in October 2018, in the beautiful coastal city of Porto, Portugal.
